Volunteer Information

The Wekiva Wilderness Trust is a non-profit Citizens' Supoort Organization dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the natural environment and promotion of nature related activities within the Wekiva River Basin. The organization is made up totally of volunteers and is dependent on contributions for financial support.

There are lots of volunteering opportunities - from helping with trail maintenance, river clean up, nature walks, research projects, nature center host and assisting at special events.

The WWT Board meets on the first Wednesday of every month at the Park's Administrative Offices and you are welcome to attend.

The Trust offers four levels of membership - Student ($10), Individual ($20), Family ($40) and Corporate ($150-$500). Corporate membership is a great way for local businesses to support your community and get recognized in the WWT Newsletter, on our website, at WWT events and elsewhere.
